Jacqueline has a passion for helping new moms and families and is the co-founder of The Nesting Place. Jacqueline suffered from postpartum anxiety and depression after the birth of her first son. She had a hard time trusting her instincts and felt very alone. She noticed that she always felt so rejuvenated when attending in person mom groups, and when moms gathered in community. Jacqueline found that women were much more forthcoming with the true struggles of motherhood in person, as opposed to the countless mom groups on social media. With that in mind, Jacqueline wanted to form a community based organization to support new and expecting families. She believes there is something so beneficial to the family when a mother is made to feel her best. It is her hope that new and expecting families gain access to the resources that they so desperately need but cannot afford. Jacqueline lives in Suffolk County with her husband and two children. She looks forward to continue to support moms and new families in many ways, and to ease the transition into parenthood.
